Bienvenidos
Bienvenidos estudiantes. Welcome students, to my website, where we will discuss random things about Spanish language and culture.
Our pictures are of Madrid. 6th Graders just did a Power Point and Excel Spreadsheet describing a fictional trip to Madrid. The specifics are listed in the section 6th Tarea, along with my sample spreadsheet and Power Point journal. This project was due on March 14. The pictures are all from Madrid. The Royal Palace in Madrid has over 2000 rooms. Spain has a King and Queen. What are their names? Also included is a picture of Retiro Park, a popular place for relaxation and a huge park in Madrid.
If your student is a second or third grader, please continue to help them spell their name and say their birthday. Please help our fourth grade friends tell time. Our sixth, seventh and eighth graders are conjugating verbs, with eighth graders knowing past and present tenses and sixth and seventh communicating in the present tense. They need help connecting subjects to verb endings. Thanks for your help.
Eighth graders have begun their classes describing what they did in Spanish during the past week in a sentence or two. I, or another student, will follow up with a question. They can practice this at home.
I've been invited to speak at the Indiana University of Pennsylvania's Spring Methodology Conference later this month. This past March, I spoke at the Central States Conference for the Teachers of Foreign Languages Annual Conference that was held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I have included a copy of the PowerPoint portion of my presentation to provide you insight of my teaching style.

Hispanos Famosos is where I put two biographies of famous Hispanic Americans. There are factual mistakes that need correcting. Just read my info and the article I cited and you will find them.
