Below is basic vocabulary that we start in Kindergarten. Grades K-2 will use this vocabulary.
Hóla=hello, Adiós=good bye, Levántaos=stand up, Séntaos=sit down

Telling Time, which is introduced in fifth grade
•Es la una y media=1:30
•Son las dos y media=2:30
•Use y media for ½ hour
•Son las dos y cuarto=2:15
•Son las dos menos cuarto=2:45
•Use y cuarto for ¼ hour
•Use menos cuarto and add an hour for 45 minute mark
•Use y for anything from 1-30 minutes (like from 2:01 to 2:30)
•Add an hour and use menos for anything from 31-59 minutes (like from 2:31 to 2:59)
